The Pickle Shack in Ohio brings PlaySight technology to Pickleball

The Pickle Shack contains six indoor courts with plans to expand to 20 on-site, and officially launched with PlaySight in May at ‘The Rumble,’ a statewide pickleball tournament that it hosted. “Everyone responded positively to the quality of the video, and our members are looking forward to recording and reviewing their matches,” said owner Dave Ganim. “We will also use PlaySight in our new teaching academy to help teach the sport of pickleball to our students. We are also excited about the ability to live stream to our bar area TVs.”

We also spoke with Dave after they got to experience PlaySight for the first time. Here is what he had to say:

How do you foresee PlaySight impacting your fans, players, coaches, and staff at your facility?

Ganim: “During our first event, I saw how everyone has responded positively to the quality of the videos. I heard about Playsight from a player in the Arnold Classic in Columbus and bought it 5 minutes later. It was an easy sell. The members of Pickle Shack are looking forward to being able to record their matches and table them for later review. We are also excited about the ability to live stream to our bar area TVs.”

What were your favorite tools and use cases with our technology?

Ganim: “We will use Playsight in our new teaching academy to help instruct our students and give them another tool for success. Onboarding was simple and your team was helpful and knowledgeable.”
